Domains registered through Caffeine are subject to ICANN regulations. Under ICANN policy, a domain cannot be transferred to another registrar within 60 days of its initial registration. During this period, the domain remains locked and cannot be transferred.
Once the 60-day lock period has passed:
- Contact our support team.
- We will manually initiate the transfer process.
- We will work with you to complete the required configuration steps.
Please note:
- Domain transfers require DNS updates and coordination on both sides.
- The process can take several days (sometimes longer).
- These safeguards exist to protect domain owners from unauthorised transfers.
