Teams that build together need a shared place to work — a common credit pool, shared projects, and roles that control who can do what. The Business plan gives your team its own workspace, separate from anyone's personal account, so team work stays organized and billed in one place.
What a team workspace is
The Business plan is a subscription for teams. When you subscribe, Caffeine creates a team workspace — a shared space with its own projects, its own monthly credits, and its own members.
A team workspace is separate from your personal account. It is not a mode or an add-on layered onto your existing account; it is its own space. This is the most important thing to understand about the Business plan, and it is the point most new team subscribers miss:
- Projects you built in your personal account stay in your personal account. They do not move, copy, or appear in the team workspace when you subscribe.
- Projects created in the team workspace belong to the team, not to any one person. They do not appear in anyone's personal account.
- Credits are separate too. The team workspace has its own credit pool; it does not draw from or add to your personal credits.
In short: subscribing to Business does not bring your personal projects with you. The team workspace starts empty, and you build in it fresh or rebuild what you need there.
The Business plan includes:
- 1000 credits every month for the team, shared across members
- Everything in Studio
- 5 seats included, with the option to add more
- Insights across all of your team's apps
- A shared team workspace and project collaboration
- Roles and permissions, plus admin controls
- Priority support
How it works
Switching between your personal account and a team workspace
If you belong to a team workspace, Caffeine shows a workspace switcher in the app. Your personal account and each team workspace you belong to are listed there.
- When you are in your personal context, you see only your personal projects and use your personal credits.
- When you switch into a team workspace, you see only that team's projects and use the team's shared credits.
Switching context never merges the two. Each context shows only its own projects. If a project you expected is not visible, check whether you are in the right context — a personal project will not appear inside a team workspace, and a team project will not appear in your personal account.
Members, roles, and seats
The Business plan includes 5 seats; you can add more. Each member joins the workspace with a role that controls what they can do. Owners and admins can manage projects across the workspace and handle admin controls; other members work within the projects assigned to them. Roles and permissions are managed from the workspace's settings by an admin.
Single sign-on
Team workspaces support single sign-on, so members can sign in with your organization's identity provider. See Setting Up Single Sign-On for Your Team Workspace.
Priority support
The Business plan includes priority support. There is no separate priority-support button or screen to look for in the app — support works the same way it does on every plan. Reach the team from Profile avatar (top right) → Get help. Requests from Business accounts are recognized and prioritized automatically when they arrive, so you do not need to do anything extra to receive priority handling.
Frequently asked questions
I subscribed to Business — where are my projects?
Your personal projects are still in your personal account, exactly where you left them. The Business plan creates a separate team workspace that starts empty, so your personal projects do not appear there. Switch back to your personal context using the workspace switcher to find them. If you want a project to live in the team workspace, build it there.
Are my personal projects shared with my team when I subscribe?
No. Personal projects and team-workspace projects are kept completely separate. Subscribing to Business does not share, copy, or move your personal projects into the team workspace, and team projects are never added to your personal account.
Can I move a personal project into my team workspace?
There is no automatic transfer between your personal account and a team workspace. The two are separate spaces. You can continue working on a personal project in your personal context, or recreate the work you need inside the team workspace.
Do team credits and personal credits mix?
No. The team workspace has its own shared monthly credit pool. It is separate from your personal credits — spending in one does not affect the other.
How many people can join a team workspace?
The Business plan includes 5 seats, and you can add more seats as your team grows.
Where do I find priority support on the Business plan?
There is no separate priority-support option in the app to find — priority support is not a button or a screen. You reach support the same way as on any plan, from Profile avatar → Get help. Requests from Business accounts are automatically recognized and prioritized when they come in, so priority handling happens behind the scenes without any extra step from you.
Why can't I see a team project in my personal account?
Team projects belong to the team workspace, not to any individual account, so they never appear in your personal projects list. Switch into the team workspace using the workspace switcher to see them.
